Contributions

Each year, TH allocates a significant amount of contributions towards non-zakat CSR initiatives in an effort to share the success gained through the support and trust of depositors and stakeholders. These contributions are channeled towards various needs such as education, health, and more.

Courtesy Visit by GMD/CEO to the Office of His Excellency YDPN Melaka

Melaka, January 11, 2021 - Today, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of TH, Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen Yusoff with TH Management paid a courtesy visit to the Office of His Excellency, Yang DiPertua Negeri Melaka and YAB Chief Minister of Melaka.

This visit is to establish opportunities for economic cooperation between TH and the Melaka State Government. The welfare of TH depositors and prospective pilgrims of the State of Melaka are also part  of their conversation.

Courtesy Visit By Malaysian Chief Statistician To Tabung Haji

KUALA LUMPUR Thursday, 6 February - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) received a courtesy visit from Department of Statistics, Malaysia today.

The visit was led by YBhg. Dato' Sri Dr. Mohd Uzir Mahidin, Malaysian Chief Statistician, joined by department managers. They were welcomed by YBhg. Datuk Nik Mohd Hasyudeen, TH Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

The objective of the visit is to discuss strategic collaborations between TH and Malaysian Department of Statistics in realising the Malaysian 2020 Census Program on July 7 2020.

COVID-19 Sabah Food Packs Distribution to Frontliners at Kota Kinabalu Children’s and Women’s Hospital

KOTA KINABALU, 16 November 2020 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) distributed Sabah COVID-19 Food Packs to Frontliners at the Kota Kinabalu Children’s and Women’s Hospital today.

A total of 200 food packs were distributed daily for 14 days starting November 16 until November 29, 2020. The donations were presented by the Director TH Sabah Director, Datin Nurlaila Said to the Director of the Hospital, Dr Marcus Netto.

TH hopes this assistance provides benefits and encouragements to the frontliners in facing the currently challenging COVID-19 crisis.

CSR Zakat Programmes

 

As a compassionate Islamic organisation, TH makes zakat contributions to State Zakat Centers in all 14 states of Malaysia during the first quarter of each year. TH also directly disburses zakat to eligible recipients across the country through its CSR Zakat Programs such as Ehsan, Iqra, Mobiliti, and Ikhtiar.
