About CSR
TH continues to share its success with stakeholders through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. This is in line with the Islamic principles and TH standing as a caring organisation to uphold the socioeconomic status of the Muslims in Malaysia.
TH CSR activities which have benefited thousands of our stakeholders nationwide in line with our aspiration to share our success with all.
TH CSR is divided into two (2) categories which are Zakat Programmes and Contributions.
CSR Policy
This policy provides directional guidelines and limitations on TH’s CSR. It also emphasises towards the practices and principles which should be followed by staff at all levels including the management and Lembaga in achieving a business practice that is transparent, responsible, sustainable and with integrity; to achieve a positive overall impact towards the society and the stakeholders.
Policy Statement
TH approach towards our CSR effort are based on the Enhancing and Sustaining Life concept.
TH is committed to contribute towards its stakeholders’ sustainable development especially for its entire personnel, Malaysian Hajj Pilgrims, Depositors and Muslim Community from the poor asnaf, the disabled and the underpriviledged community with full of integrity, work ethics, community, social, economy and environment.
This commitment is translated through aspiration to realise the TH’s future vision and mission by instilling strong determination and commitment towards daily operations and special programmes at staff and management level.
TH also strives to increase awareness and understanding amongst all its members through Tabung Haji Act 1995 (Act 535), Disciplinary Regulations, TH’s Integrity Policies, Financial Authority Manual and Office’s Management and Governance Manual, as guidance in carrying out daily activities and processes.
TH assumes the corporate responsibility as:
- Strategic methods in contributing positively towards operational success;
- As part of continuous initiative in building positive image through general public’s confidence and trust especially by the Muslim community towards TH; and
- As part of continuous effort in creating camaraderie amongst its staff while inculcating pride and commitment towards TH.
