The Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today paid zakat of RM1,671,204.03 for the financial year ending 2018 to the Sarawak Baitulmal Fund at a brief ceremony at the Official House of Sarawak Chief Minister, Demak Jaya, Jalan Bako, Kuching, Sarawak.

YBhg. Tan Sri Md Nor Yusof, TH Chairman presented the payment of zakat to His Excellency, Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmood, Yang Dipertua Negeri Sarawak.

The payment of TH's zakat for Sarawak stood at an increase of 27.1% compared to 2017.

Also present at the ceremony were YB Datuk Dr. Haji Abd Rahman bin Haji Junaidi, Rural Electricity Ministry-Sarawak Ministry of Utilities; YBhg. Datu Haji Misnu bin Haji Taha, Yang Dipertua Majlis Islam Sarawak; YBhg.
