The Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today handed over Zakat TH amounting to RM8,554,863.53 for the financial year ending 2018 to Pusat Pungutan Zakat Wilayah Persekutuan (PPZ-MAIWP) at Tenera Hotel, Bandar Baru Bangi.

YB Datuk Seri Dr. Mujahid Yusof, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department received the contribution from YBhg. Dato ’Sri Zukri bin Samat, Group Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer TH.

Zakat contributions for the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur recorded an increase of 25.1% compared to the year 2017 (RM6,837,980.09).

Also present at the ceremony were YBhg. Datuk Haji Che Mat Che Ali, Chairman of PPZ-MAIWP; Tuan Haji Ahmad Shukri Yusoff, Chief Executive Officer of PPZ-MAIWP; Tuan Haji Mohd Hanifah Kamarudin, TH Federal Territory Deputy Director ; PPZ-MAIWP management and TH staff members.
