Bangi, 4 November 2018 - Kelab TaHa Lembaga Tabung Haji in collaboration with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) today held the TaHa National Program STEM Innovation Challenge 2018 at Dewan Gemilang UKM, Bangi which was concluded by the Closing Ceremony by YBhg. Tuan Haji Mohd Hisham Harun, Chief of Human Resource TH.
STEM Innovation Challenge 2018 is a STEM (Intermediary, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education intervention program for Kelab TaHa members. This program is to foster interest and awareness as well as to make students more innovative, creative and competitive in the STEM field to compete in the 21st century's economy.
Also present was YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Imran Ho Abdullah Timb. Vice-Chancellor of the Jaringan Industri dan Masyarakat UKM, YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Norazah Mohd Nordin Dean of the Faculty of Education UKM, Yang Dihormati Prof. Madya Dr. Mohd Sattar Rasul, Chairman of Pusat Kebudayaan STEM Fakulti Pendidikan UKM, General Manager of Customer Service Division TH and TH members involved in Program Kelab TaHa National STEM Innovation Challenge 2018.
A total of 125 secondary schools representing the north, south, east, west and Sabah and Serawak zones have participated in the Smart City Project, Go Green Project, STEM Challenge and 3-Minutes Pitching from November 2 to 4, 2018.
