PULAU PINANG, 22 August 2022 - Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) today presented Business Zakat for the financial year 2020 and 2021 amounting to RM8,040,457.49 to Penang State Islamic Religious Council (MAINPP) at Sri Mutiara, Jalan Utama, Pulau Pinang. Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Ahmad Fuzi Haji Abdul Razak have received the business zakat contribution on behalf of MAINPP which was presented by Acting Executive Director of TH Operations, Tuan Haji Mohamed Ameen Abdul Wahab.

TH zakat contribution for Pulau Pinang for the year 2021 increased by 1.3 percent amounting to RM4.05 million compared to 2020. Total TH zakat contribution of RM101.19 million for the year 2021 recorded an increase of 1.41 percent compared to the previous year.
