Objective
The main objective of the hajj appeal is to provide an opportunity for prospective Hajj pilgrims who are not included in the current allocation year, so that they may have the chance to perform Hajj in that year.

Purpose
The hajj appeal is provided by Tabung Haji (TH) as a channel for prospective pilgrims to submit specific reasons for performing hajj in the current year.

Considerations for the Appeal
Appeals for Hajj are subject to availability of places and are considered based on specific merit criteria, including:

1. Appeal for mahram (spouse) for a selected husband or wife.
2. Accompanying person for selected elderly pilgrims.
3. Accompanying person for selected persons with disabilities (OKU).
   The hajj fee for the above categories will be based on the selected hajj fee (principal).
4. Other appeals that meet the merit criteria may also be considered, such as:

• Duration since hajj registration
• Age factor
• Financial condition
• Frequency of hajj appeal applications, including whether the applicant is a first-time applicant or has previously performed Hajj.
  The hajj fee for approved appeals will be based on the full cost of performing hajj.
