Hajj Course
Basic Hajj Course (Kursus Asas Haji)
Basic Hajj Course (KAH) is the first hajj course to be attended by the prospective pilgrims. It has a total of 13 series and is held every weekend for two and a half hours beginning from the month of Rabi'ul Akhir until Jamadil Akhir every year. TH organises KAH at selected mosques around the country in collaboration with the respective mosques' committees. The course module covers the basic knowledge related to hajj rituals, healthcare and hajj management in Malaysia as well as in the Holy Land.
KAH is also open to any individuals who are interested to learn about hajj and umrah and not limited to the selected pilgrims for the current year. Those who are interested can register with the organising mosques.
Intensive Hajj Course (Kursus Intensif Haji)
Intensive Hajj Course (KIH) is the second course organised for the prospective pilgrims. This two-days course is held in the month of Rejab and Syaaban every year. It focuses on the practical aspects of the hajj and umrah rituals which include hajj rituals, healthcare and hajj management while in Malaysia and the Holy Land.
Only selected pilgrims are invited to attend this course by TH State or District Offices.
Special Hajj Course (Kursus Khas Haji)
Special Hajj Course (KKH) is an extension to KIH. This one-day course emphasises on the practical aspect of hajj rituals in a smaller and focused group. The participants for this course are those who have attended the KIH, but received low marks in hajj rituals test. In addition, prospective hajj pilgrims who are selected at the last minute will also be invited to attend this course.TH State or District Offices will issue a letter of invitation to the respective pilgrims.
Prime Hajj Course (Kursus Perdana Haji)
Prime Hajj Course (KPH) is the final course to be attended by all prospective pilgrims before they leave to perform hajj in the current year. KPH is held at all states in the month of Syawal every year. This two-day-one-day course provides a more comprehensive hajj knowledge with practicals activities in a larger crowd. It involves hajj rituals such as activities such as mabit, tawaf, sa'ie, and throwing of pebbles.
Only prospective pilgrims selected to perform hajj in the current year will be invited to attend this course by the TH State or District Offices.
